Christiaan De Wet Schoeman

De Wet Schoeman completed a BSc degree in Mathematics and Psychology, a Higher Education Diploma and a BScHons degree in Psychology from the University of the Free State. He continued to obtain an MSc from the same institution in 1985. Since 1981, he has completed numerous short courses, presented by high profile institutions and universities. He holds the position of Executive at the University of Stellenbosch Business School – Executive Development, Centre for Applied Entrepreneurship since 2009. De Wet is responsible for the setup and management, initiation of drives and initiatives, programme development and management, and training and research activities. Prior to this position, he was actively involved in course development and training in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from 2000 to 2008 for the FSI, Department of Education and various other corporate institutions.

De Wet’s lecturing venture started in 1993, as a junior lecturer/researcher at the University of the Free State, followed by a lecturer/researcher position in the Psychology Department at the same institution. Other positions held at the university were lecturer in Psychology from 1989, followed by lecturer in Industrial Psychology from 1990. In 1992 De Wet exchanged the academic stage for a career in the corporate world.
