Desiree Margaret Daniels

Desiree Daniels obtained a BSocSc degree from the University of Cape Town in 1979. She continued to receive a Post-graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from UNISA, an Advanced Certificate in Leadership from the Graduate School of Business – UCT, and attended a course in Inter-organisational Relations at the Hanken School of Economics, in Helsinki. In 2011 Desiree obtained an MPhil degree in Management Coaching from the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB). She currently holds the position of Project Manager, at USB-ED, Centre for Business in Society, after working for the Global Development for Peace and Leadership as Interim Director. Her areas of expertise include coaching, mentoring, facilitation, marketing, HIV/AIDS and corporate social investment.

Desiree’s experience and development over the years has provided her with unique opportunities to network and collaborate with individuals, groups and key stakeholders across all sectors and at all levels, both nationally and abroad. She not only experienced the way in which they operate, but was also able to influence the direction of these programmes and initiatives. Throughout her career she held various board and leadership positions and continues to do so. She has also received various awards and a scholarship as recognition for her outstanding work.
