Jean Reinhardt Lohbauer
Reinhardt Lohbauer obtained a BA degree from the University of Stellenbosch, after which he completed his Honours in Industrial Sociology at UNISA. In 1997 he graduated with an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He has worked as an independent business development consultant for the past 16 years and his role is that of business mentor and coach to companies. Reinhardt is a registered assessor/facilitator in the fields of project management, marketing and market research, new venture creation and small business advising, and an accredited business mentor with Business Partners. He assisted the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro with an entrepreneur development programme, worked with SAMDI in design and development processes and has lectured at the European Business College in Germany on Business Strategy.
Reinhardt designed and implemented construction management and SME qualification for the construction industry in Cape Town. Since 1996, he has been serving as Member at Lohbauer and Associates CC, fulfilling the responsibilities of general management, business development and product development. Prior to 1996, he managed the human resource departments at Globe Engineering Works Ltd and Courthiel Velours, and worked as Personnel Officer at Anglo American Corporation (Ergo Division). He has since consulted in public sector and private sector organisations.
